Vitamins are important components of people’s diet because of their role in growth, maintenance of good health, and normal reproduction. My Smoothie recipe is rich of eight water-soluble vitamins B commonly known as Vitamin B Complex.
Make sure your body runs like a well-oiled machine thanks to my favourite vitamin. A vitamin B complex is a dietary supplement that delivers all eight of the B vitamins: B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6, B7 (biotin), B9 (folate), B. They help to convert food into fuel for our body; it is mainly responsible for keeping the human body energised.
Where can we find Vitamin B
Lentils and legumes contain the highest amounts of Thiamine. Also, cereals (like rice, wheat), vegetables (like spinach, broccoli, lettuce) and fish, eggs and poultry also contain high amounts of Vitamin B1.
Vitamin B12 is present in all leafy green vegetables in addition to fish, crabs, eggs, milk and other dairy products like cheese, red meat and poultry. Other sources include cereals and soy.
Vitamin B6 is richly concentrated in foods like high-quality proteins (beef, fish, mutton), dairy products like cheese.
Pantothenic acid is present in high concentration in mushrooms, broccoli, yoghurt, avocados, lentils and split peas.
Refuel B-Complex Smoothie is a delicious creamy power smoothie that will boost your energies and keep those important nerves moist.
